ROBERT DOWNEY JR - DOWNEY JR: 'WORKING WITH MY WIFE IS A NIGHTMARE'

ROBERT DOWNEY JR experienced a stormy working relationship with wife SUSAN LEVIN when the pair teamed up for murder mystery film KISS KISS BANG BANG.

Downey Jr jokingly admits he nearly came to blows with his then-fiancee and the film's executive producer on several occasions.

He says, "She'd get a little emotional and then we'd have to talk. And I'd be saying, 'You know what, I can't be worried about taking care of the f**king producer.'

"And she'd say, 'I'm not just the producer, we're getting married you moron.'"

But the optimistic CHAPLIN star insists he'll have no problem joining forces again in future.

He adds, "We're going to do some amazing movies. I know we are.

"But we're not together just to make movies. She provides a variety of services."
