PETE DOHERTY - DOHERTY'S LOVER: A BAD INFLUENCE?

PETE DOHERTY's girlfriend DOT ALLISON has come under attack from the troubled singer's family, who have accused her of leading him astray.

Allison - formerly the lead singer of MASSIVE ATTACK - had pledged to help the former LIBERTINE beat his drink and drug problems, but Doherty's close family insist she has just been a bad influence.

Doherty was due to play a live show with new band BABYSHAMBLES in London on Monday night (11OCT04), but pulled out at the last minute following a row with one of his crew over Allison.

A source, who turned up to for the gig, told British newspaper the DAILY STAR, "I got talking to Pete's uncle and he was none too impressed by his girlfriend. He kept calling her unpleasant names and said it was bad news he was living with 'that bird' now."

The uncle reportedly said, "I am his biggest fan and watch him everywhere. He's absolutely top class but it's a real shame he's living with that bird these days. She's definitely not the best influence on him."
