THE LIBERTINES - DOHERTY'S FRIENDS BLAMED FOR HIS ADDICTION

THE LIBERTINES frontman PETE DOHERTY's friends have been accused of preventing the singer from kicking his drug habit.

Musician TIM ARNOLD has pointed the finger of blame at the musician's decadent pals, because Doherty has fled three separate rehabilitation clinics so far this year (04).

Arnold says, "Everyone round him is making it harder for him to stop.

"The sort of love Pete is getting on a day-to-day basis is making him feel trapped.

"Adults in their mid-twenties are swapping tales about crack like 14-year-olds swap football stickers.

"And Pete is in the middle, hanging on by the skin of his teeth."
