Troubled rocker PETE DOHERTY has accused his former band THE LIBERTINES of failing to credit his work on their latest album.
Doherty - who has resumed his music career in new group BABYSHAMBLES - is furious his ex-writing partner CARL BARAT refused to acknowledge he co-wrote tracks including (WHAT BECAME OF) THE LIKELY LADS, and has now asked his lawyers to prove which songs he was responsible for.
He complains, "I feel a bit disgusted and disturbed by the way someone, other than myself, has done the artwork, the inlay, and how my songs haven't been credited.
"They should change their name and do their own songs. Carl's going around saying he wrote (What Became Of) The Likely Lads. He knows that's not true.
"We wrote it together. On the record it says Barat. It was always 50/50. That was their idea."
