THE LIBERTINES - DOHERTY MISSED GIGS AS REVENGE

THE LIBERTINES singer PETE DOHERTY was so hurt bandmate CARL BARAT snubbed a birthday party he'd organised - he missed gigs last summer (03) in revenge.

Doherty ordered Barat to finish his birthday party "really early" to attend a gig he had organised for him and was so furious when Barat refused, he spurned a Libertines tour.

Barat reveals, "He didn't turn up for the tour over a misdemeanour, but there was obviously more to it than that.

"He said it was because I didn't come to a sh*tty gig he organised on my birthday.

"I told him I was having a birthday party, he told me to end my birthday party really early.

"I said, I can't really do that. Then after a few drinks, everyone was like, why should you run off to a crack house in the East End on your birthday."
