LATEST: Retired rapper DMX is planning to file charges against New York's port authority police, claiming they stole his $12,000 (GBP6,315) watch during a traffic stop.

The NEVER DIE ALONE star pleaded guilty to reckless driving and operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs in court on Wednesday (08DEC04) and was conditionally discharged, but now it's him seeking justice.

DMX claims police took his designer watch during the arrest incident after he ploughed through the gates of New

York's John F Kennedy Airport parking lot after claiming to be a federal agent - and he hasn't had the timepiece back.

Police insist they did not take the watch and it isn't in their possession.
