THE DISTILLERS - DISTILLERS DRUMMER QUITS

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

THE DISTILLERS drummer ANDY GRANELLI has quit the group in search of new challenges, insisting he's still great pals with his former bandmates.

Granelli - who provided the rhythm for the punk band's critically acclaimed breakthrough album CORAL FANG - agonised over his decision, but ultimately decided his heart was no longer in the group.

He says, "I will miss everyone very much, this has been very hard for me, and I am going to miss BRODY (DALLE), TONY (BRADLEY) and RYAN (SINN) very much.

"None of this comes from any ill will. The four of us are still close friends. I will miss The Distillers, but I need to move on."
