DISCALA WEIGHT COMMENTS BRANDED A 'JOKE'

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

LATEST: An offshore gaming company has hit back at JAMIE-LYNN DiSCALA's decision to ditch her deal with them, insisting the "gangster's daughter" should be able to take a "joke".

Last week (ends19NOV04) THE SOPRANOS beauty distanced herself from CASINO FORTUNE, after an executive made comments about her weight.

DiScala, who has suffered from anorexia and an addiction to exercise in the past, signed on with the company to raise money and awareness to battle eating disorders.

But the deal turned sour when DENNIS ROSE, a vice president for the Trinidad-based company, recently said, "(Casino Fortune hired DiScala) because she was fat, then scrawny, and finally found a way to control her eating disorder."

While DiScala's husband, AJ DiSCALA has condemned the comments as "grossly offensive and insensitive", a representative for the company tells US WEEKLY, "Can't a gangster's daughter take a joke?"
