THE SOPRANOS star JAMIE-LYNN DiSCALA has ditched her endorsement deal with offshore gaming company CASINO FORTUNE, after an executive made comments about her weight.
DiScala, who has suffered from anorexia and an addiction to exercise in the past, signed on with the company to raise money and awareness to battle eating disorders.
But, according to the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS, DENNIS ROSE, a vice president for the Trinidad-based company, recently said, "(Casino Fortune hired DiScala) because she was fat, then scrawny, and finally found a way to control her eating disorder."
DiScala's husband, AJ DiSCALA, fumes, "We found these commentsgrossly offensive and insensitive."
An attorney for the actress adds, "We are terminating this agreement immediately."
