MATTHEW VAUGHAN - DIRECTOR LAUDS SIENNA'S STAR QUALITY

Director MATTHEW VAUGHAN didn't hesitate to cast JUDE LAW's new girlfriend SIENNA MILLER in his latest movie project - after being bowled over by her "star appeal".

The LOCK STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS producer - married to supermodel CLAUDIA SCHIFFER - auditioned countless girls for the sassy role in his upcoming drug-dealing film LAYER CAKE, but only Miller fitted the bill.

He gushes, "You meet a lot of girls who take up acting for a laugh, but can't act. When Sienna came in, she just had that star appeal, that thing you can't define, and she can act."

The film is slated for release in September (04).
