VIN DIESEL - DIESEL TO BECOME HITMAN

VIN DIESEL is the latest actor to bring a videogame superstar to the big screen - THE PACIFIER hardman will play the role of AGENT 47 from the HITMAN gaming series.

Diesel, who made his name in SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, XXX and THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK, was seen by producers as the perfect candidate to bring the ultra-violent assassin to cinemas.

ADRIAN ASKARIEH tells VARIETY, "Hitman is a project that by the virtue of its DNA can and will reach far beyond its already substantial core audience.

"We obviously are delighted to have Vin Diesel on board, too - he and Agent 47 are a match made in heaven."
