SEAN COMBS - DIDDY DAY POSTPONED IN LAS VEGAS

LATEST: SEAN 'P DIDDY' COMBS' special day in Las Vegas was postponed on Friday (15APR05) when the rap mogul couldn't make it to Sin City to personally accept the honour.

The New Yorker was scheduled to attend the unveiling of April 15th DIDDY DAY in Las Vegas, but had to call off the engagement due to prior commitments.

Diddy sent a letter of apology to Vegas mayor OSCAR GOODMAN, stating, "Due to an unfortunate miscommunication, I will not be able to make the anticipated trip to Las Vegas.

"I am flattered the mayor saw fit to honour me with a day and hope to join him soon."

Vegas dignitaries decided to honour Diddy with his own day in appreciation of his chart-topping albums, reality television hits, 2004 voter registration campaign and his fashion exploits.
