Pop rebel CHRISTINA AGUILERA has been accused of stealing SUGABABES hit OVERLOAD, after adding the British trio's songwriters to the credits of her song MAKE OVER.

The song, from Aguilera's 2002 album STRIPPED, raised suspicions among some critics, who thought the tune was extremely similar to MUTYA BUENA, KEISHA BUCHANAN and ex-bandmate SIOBHAN DONAGHY's 2000 debut single.

American gossip site PAGESIX.COM reports Aguilera and LINDA PERRY were listed as Make Over's composers on Stripped, however now the AMERICAN SOCIETY OF COMPOSERS, AUTHORS AND PUBLISHERS (ASCAP) have added Sugababes writters JONATHAN LIPSEY, FELIX HOWARD, CAMERON McVEY and PAUL SIMM as writers.

Lipsey, Howard, McVey and Simm penned many tunes on the teenage group's debut album ONE TOUCH.

Further adding to suspicions, Aguilera has edited Make Over from the track listings of her new DVD STRIPPED IN LONDON.
