CAMERON DIAZ - DIAZ DYED HER HAIR TO SNARE NEW GUYS

CAMERON DIAZ once dyed her famous blonde locks to see if she could attract different guys.

The actress fancied a change of look after starring in comedy THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY, and opted to become a brunette - and she admits her guy experiment worked.

She says, "It was a time in my own life that I was like, 'I've had blonde hair my whole life and I just wanted to try something different and see what kind of guys hit on me when I was brunette, as opposed to blonde.

"It's totally different. The guys who liked the dark hair, it was more of the cooler, low-key, more sensitive, more interesting guys.

"With the blonde, you got a lot more, like, 'Hey, what's up. Can I buy you a beer?'"
