Movie veteran DIANE LADD has been hiding a secret from her fans - she's a healer. The mother of LAURA DERN is a member of the National Foundation of Alternative Medicine and has developed a name for herself thanks to her healing hands. In certain circles, the CHINATOWN star is known as REVEREND ROSE and tours hospitals using her special powers to help the sick get well. She says, "I have a masters in psychology and, after 30 years of healing experiences, I became an ordained minister." Ladd is now planning to share her secret with the world in a new book, SPIRALLING THROUGH THE SCHOOL OF LIFE. But she accepts she has plenty of critics who don't take her healing skills seriously. She adds, "I like to joke that when (actress-turned-spiritualist) SHIRLEY MACLAINE was out on a limb, I was already out on a branch."
