DESTINY'S CHILD's comeback tune LOSE MY BREATH is being kept off the top of the UK singles chart for the second week in a row, by British band GIRLS ALOUD.

GIRLS ALOUD, who formed two years ago (02) on TV talent show POPSTARS, re-recorded the PRETENDERS' I'LL STAND BY YOU for BBC's CHILDREN IN NEED charity and are thrilled it beat the original's chart position of number 10 in 1994.

LEMAR, who also rose to fame through a reality television series - BBC's FAME ACADEMY - stayed at number three with IF THERE'S ANY JUSTICE.

Former SPICE GIRL GERI HALLIWELL made number four with RIDE IT, followed by NELLY and CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S TILT YA HEAD BACK.
