The creator of TV show DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES has hit out at PAMELA ANDERSON's claims she turned down a role in the ABC comedy.
The former BAYWATCH babe says she was offered the role of divorced single mother SUSAN MAYER, which eventually went to TERI HATCHER.
Anderson said, "Blonde is my trademark so I said no. Now I could kick myself as the show is simply great.
"I am hoping to persuade them to give me a guest star role."
But Desperate Housewives writer and producer MARC CHERRY insists Anderson was never asked. He says, "No offer was tendered."
