JOHNNY DEPP's sex scenes in new movie THE LIBERTINE were closely scrutinised, because worried museum curators feared his energetic thrusts could break their priceless 16th century bed.
Staff at the National Trust's Montacute House in Somerset, England, supervised the saucy sequence, because they feared the grand bed would be damaged
House steward SHARON MASTERS says, "It is a beautiful oak carved bed and is priceless in the sense it couldn't be replaced.
"I was one of a small number allowed on set for the love scenes - an unusual environment to be giving conservation advice.
"Watching him filming a love scene is an experience I will never forget. Thankfully, nothing was damaged."
