DENNIS QUAID - DENNIS QUAID WEDS

Movie star DENNIS QUAID made Independence Day 2004 (04JUL04) extra special - he married fiancee KIMBERLY BUFFINGTON in Montana.

JACK HENRY RYAN, Quaid's 12-year-old son with ex-wife MEG RYAN, served as best man at the low-key ceremony. The couple met in March 2003.

This isn't the first time Quaid has picked a special day for his nuptials - he wed his first wife PJ SOLES on Thanksgiving Day (NOV) in 1978 and exchanged vows with Ryan on Valentine's Day (14FEB) 1991.

Meanwhile, there's even more for Quaid to celebrate - he'll be honoured with a star on the Hollywood WALK OF FAME next year (05).

Quaid wasn't the only star to use the Independence Day weekend to tie the knot - former BEVERLY HILLS 90210 star TORI SPELLING wed on Saturday (03JUL04).
