Actress-turned-minister DELLA REESE is stunned fans refuse to accept the end of her hit show TOUCHED BY ANGEL.
The 72-year-old screen star, who played TESS on the religious-themed CBS series for nine years, is constantly bombarded with enquiries from fans asking when the show will return.
Reese, who presides over services at the non-denominational UNDERSTANDING PRINCIPLES FOR BETTER LIVING CHURCH in Los Angeles, says, "People keep asking me - people on the street approach me about Touched by an Angel. The way some of them talk, it's as if I was personally responsible for taking it off the air, but there was nothing I could do.
"I would have thought by now we would have done some movies or something, but thee aren't any planned.
"This is where it is: They have a new show on now, JOAN OF ARCADIA, and I think the network feels that fills whatever gap Touched by an Angel left. But the audience doesn't feel that.
"I know one thing - it's cheaper to make Joan of Arcadia."
