NYPD BLUE - DELANEY DREAMS UP A KILLER

Former NYPD BLUE star KIM DELANEY once helped police catch a murderer, after going through hypnosis to recall what he looked like.

The actress was working as a model when a friend was killed and police came to her for help because she was the last person to see the victim alive.

Delaney explains, "I was apparently one of the last persons to see her walking with this guy. I couldn't remember what he looked like so the cops came to the agency and had me hypnotised.

"They did a sketch, and then years later when I was on NYPD they came back out to show me some pictures of the same sketch.

"They ended up finding the guy and it matched the sketch.

"I was really scared. You don't know what you're gonna say when you're hypnotised.

"They actually did it with numbers - they had you counting different ways. I don't even remember coming out of hypnosis."
