ELLEN DEGENERES - DEGENERES OFFERS TO FIND ANISTON A HOME

US comedienne ELLEN DEGENERES has offered to help JENNIFER ANISTON find a new Hollywood home after pulling out of the chance to buy the mansion the actress once shared with BRAD PITT. DeGeneres was among many potential buyers when the Pitt/Aniston home went on the market last year (05), but she decided the home wasn't for her and partner PORTIA DE ROSSI. In an exchange on her TV chat show ELLEN, which airs in the US tomorrow (07APR06), apologetic DeGeneres told Aniston, "I love that house so much. You know I do. It was just not the right house." And, by way of compensating the former FRIENDS star, DeGeneres offered to give up her weekend and go house hunting with the actress. Aniston told the host, "I need a house... You are so good at that though; you find houses like that. You love real estate... I'm looking like crazy." DeGeneres fired back, "This Sunday you and I can go to open houses. I'm going to help you find you something. I have my ears and eyes open. I'm serious. I'm not kidding. I'm going to find you a great house." The host also gave Aniston a few hints about her own homemaking skills when she 'created' an apartment for the actress in her dressing rooms - as a temporary house.
