DEATH IN VEGAS - DEATH IN VEGAS DISAPPOINTED WITH WELLER TRACK

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

DEATH IN VEGAS star RICHARD FEARLESS has singled out PAUL WELLER's contribution to the duo's latest album SCORPIO RISING as his most disappointing collaboration.

Fearless was initially delighted when Weller joined OASIS' LIAM GALLAGHER, IGGY POP and DOT ALLISON as vocalists on the project, but he wishes their track together, GENE CLARK cover SAY YOU LOST YOUR BABY, was more rewarding.

He explains, "I have to be careful with what I say but I just think that if you've got a song that has a feeling underneath that's very different and unique.

"I think the song is great and it works really well, but for me it's too retro. We should have pushed it a little bit further and worked on it a bit more.

"But Paul Weller wanted to work with us. He called up quite a few times."
