American actress DREA DE MATTEO is dreading this weekend's (16JAN05) GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS - because she doesn't want to win the coveted gongs.

The JOEY star has been nominated alongside ANJELICA HUSTON, CHARLIZE THERON, EMILY WATSON and NICOLETTE SHERIDAN in the Actress In A Supporting Role - Series, Mini-Series Or Television Movie category, for her performance in mob drama THE SOPRANOS.

De Matteo says, "I hate it, I can't believe that I'm nominated again. I will never be able to prepare a speech. I'll never be able to get up there and make sense. I'll never be able to thank people properly.

"So I'm just hoping and keeping my fingers crossed that one of the other girls wins."
