DARYL HANNAH - DARYL HANNAH AGREES TO "DISCREET" NUDE PHOTOS

Hollywood beauty DARYL HANNAH shed her clothes for adult magazine PLAYBOY in order to promote QUENTIN TARANTINO's new movie KILL BILL.

The SPLASH star, who appears alongside UMA THURMAN and LUCY LIU in the violent production, has always avoided stripping in the past - but gave in when Playboy promised her the shots would be "discreet".

Daryl explains, "I have been asked a million times to do it and obviously have refused. Then they said not only would they pay me tons of money but I didn't even have to show anything.

"So I ended up doing a photoshoot with a photographer that I'm very good friends with and it's actually less nudity than when I did the film DANCING AT THE BLUE IGUANA. It's like a fashion shoot."

However, the gorgeous-looking 42-year-old admits she did feel nervous while the photographer was snapping away.

The actress adds, "I was self-conscious about it. I said, 'Why me?' and they said, 'Uma's doing VOGUE'. I thought, 'Oh great! She's on the cover of Vogue, I'm on the cover of Playboy.'"
