GWYNETH PALTROW's mother BLYTHE DANNER is so besotted with her new granddaughter APPLE, she constantly wears a brooch shaped like the fruit.
Paltrow and her British husband CHRIS MARTIN spend most of their time in London, but Danner is based in Los Angeles, where she has often been seen sporting a shiny piece of green-gemmed jewellery on her garments.
Danner has told friends, "When I can't be with her, I can at least let the world know I'm thinking about her.
"I'm so in love with that little girl."
