JEFF DANIELS - DANIELS RELEASES ALBUM

Actor JEFF DANIELS was inspired to pursue a singing career after seeing so many other Hollywood actors expressing themselves musically. THE SQUID AND THE WHALE star was trying to raise funds for a theatre company he owns in Michigan and decided to hold a concert. After several years, the sell-out shows became so popular he even put out an album. He says, "One of the songs I wrote is IF WILLIAM SHATNER CAN, I CAN, TOO. "I know the last thing we need is another actor/singer/songwriter - I mean KEVIN BACON's doing it, RUSSELL CROWE's doing it - it's just like, well, 'They're all doing it!'"
