Pop star DANIEL BEDINGFIELD prefers wearing boxer shorts to briefs - because there's more room.

However, the GOTTA GET THRU THIS singer believes his preference for boxers, may cause problems later in life.

Daniel says, "I was discussing with my mates the other day that your balls can hang really low when you get to about 80 and if you wore briefs it would stop the hang, but I just can't wear tighty whites.

"My poor wife is going to have to cope with some very long b******s when I'm old."
