ELIZABETH TAYLOR - DAME LIZ CAUGHT UP IN KIDNAPPING SCANDAL

DAME ELIZABETH TAYLOR is preparing herself for another personal scandal - her son-in-law is planning to file kidnapping charges against the acting legend.

THOMAS McKEOWN, the estranged husband of Taylor's daughter MARIA BURTON, is in legal talks with his attorneys after claiming the 72-year-old Hollywood legend has "abducted" his two-year-old son.

The Wall Street banker insists he has been shut off from his child for the past several months after Maria set up home with Taylor in California.

He fumes, "This is child abduction. My attorneys feel this entire thing is unconscionable. We're going to go nuclear.

"I contacted Elizabeth in March 2003. I called her and said, 'Look, your daughter is out of control.' But, instead of helping me, she turned Maria against me.

"The last conversation I had with Elizabeth was to tell her, 'Thanks for ruining my marriage.'

"Now, they refuse to provide me with any communication with my son. Last contact I had was in October (03)."

McKeown insists he won't give up his fight until he has got his wife and son back: "I want to see my wife unclenched from Elizabeth Taylor's clutches. I want my wife back and my son back."
