Hollywood superstar TOM CRUISE is planning to make his next movie a western. The actor is keen to move away from the action films he has concentrated on for the past five years and diversify. As well as 3:10 TO YUMA - which will be directed by JAMES MANGOLD - Cruise is also being linked with a romantic comedy called FOOL'S GOLD. Cruise says, "I'd love to make a western." But he confesses the quality of the scripts sent to him don't match his appetite to work: "I'm the kind of person who, if I could make three movies a year, I would make three movies, but I haven't found anything I like at the moment."
