TOM CRUISE is like an older brother to COLLATERAL co-star JADA PINKETT SMITH - who labels the Hollywood hunk "protective".
WILL SMITH's wife, 32, says Cruise was very paternal with the film's crew - and often "took care" of everyone.
Pinkett Smith explains, "He spread his protective wings over me.
"He was like a big brother.
"He took care of the team by ordering large amounts of coffee and hot chocolate for us everyday."
