ALL I WANNA DO singer SHERYL CROW and her fiance LANCE ARMSTRONG have split up.

They became engaged in September (04). The seven-time Tour De France champion, who famously overcame testicular cancer, has three children from a previous marriage, while Crow was set to wed for the first time.

A joint statement released yesterday (03FEB06) reads: "After much thought and consideration we have made a very tough decision to split up.

"We both have a deep love and respect for each other and we ask that everyone respect our privacy during this very difficult time."
