COURTENEY COX struggled to "be funny" on FRIENDS when best pal JENNIFER ANISTON's character gave birth - because she was recovering from a miscarriage.
The actress managed to mask her pain while filming the scenes, but was struggling deep down.
She says, "RACHEL (GREEN) was giving birth at the same time and it was terrible trying to be funny. I faked it pretty well, I think."
