SIMON COWELL - COWELL'S TRIP TO MEXICO RUINED BY STORM

SIMON COWELL's romantic getaway to Mexico with his girlfriend turned into a disaster, when storms and hotel closures forced them to share a room with the AMERICAN IDOL judge's brother.

Music mogul Cowell, 43, and his 29-year-old TV correspondent belle TERRI SEYMOUR made their way down to Cabo San Lucas on 22 August (03) for what should've been a sun-filled break.

But the high winds, heavy rains and storm-related closures which greeted them forced the couple to share a room with Cowell's brother TONY, who went along to help write the caustic Briton's biography I DON'T MEAN TO BE RUDE, BUT....

Cowell and Seymour managed to make the most of their time - he taped entries for the book, while she got to the pool when the weather cleared.

Seymour says, "It was bizarre but relaxing."
