SIMON COWELL - COWELL PLANS TALENT SHOW MOVIE

SIMON COWELL is making a movie based on his hit talent shows, AMERICAN IDOL, POP IDOL and X FACTOR.

The film will follow talented youngsters during their quest for fame.

The record executive-turned-talent show judge reveals, "I'm going to produce a film next year, not a million miles away from Pop Idol or X Factor.

"It will feature two people trying to make a name for themselves in the industry and all the heartache that goes with it.

"One of the lead roles will be British, the other will be an international name.

"One of the main roles will be available for an ordinary person.

"We will hold auditions up and down the country to find a talented young actor or actress for the role.
