SIMON COWELL has banned AMERICAN IDOL contestants from singing certain songs, because he's sick of hearing the same ones over and over again.
The judge is bored of wannabes picking the same tracks and insists hopefuls should be more original if they aim to win his praise.
He says, "We've banned certain songs. FALLING, ALICIA KEYS. I never want to hear that song again in my life. I cannot stand it. I'm allergic to it.
"And I BELIEVE I CAN FLY (R KELLY)."
