THE CORRS - CORR FANS TRY TO CORRUPT POLL

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

Irish hitmakers THE CORRS are at the centre of a vote rigging scandal - after overzealous fans tried to rig a poll.

The enthusiasts were trying to ensure that lead singer ANDREA CORR topped the list of sexist women in the world compiled by British lads magazine FHM.

Andrea was in the lowly position of 257th until the voters - encouraged by an unofficial website - went to work and in the course of a few hours she had rocketed to 151th.

A FHM spokesperson says, "As it's only one vote per person, FHM were naturally suspicious and after some investigation traced it back to the source."

Favourites for the coveted title include HOLLY VALANCE and S CLUB singer RACHEL STEVENS.
