Cult musician JULIAN COPE has one piece of advice for aspiring rockers - never tour countries "whose food you don't like" and "whose women you don't fancy".
The 48-year-old Brit is keen to pass on his advice, as he wishes he'd never made it big in Germany.
He says, "My main message to young rock and rollers is, don't invest even a moment of energy playing a country whose climate you don't like, whose food you don't like, whose women you don't fancy.
"You could accidentally be successful there and have to go there to earn dosh (money). And that happened to me. F**k, yeah!
"I had to go to Germany. Imagine it. Bielefeld on a Wednesday night. There could be a hundred women in the front row and I wouldn't fancy a single one of them.
"I'm fascinated by the Scando-Germanic, but I haven't ever found a Freya or a Frigg at any of my German shows. They all look too much like (tennis player) MARTINA NAVRATILOVA.
"So, yes, think before you become big in Austria."
