Steve Coogan - Coogan Granted 'Quickie' Divorce

British funnyman STEVE COOGAN and his estranged wife CAROLINE HICKMAN will be granted a 'quickie' divorce in London's High Court today (27JUL05).

The ALAN PARTRIDGE comedian, 38, and socialite Hickman split last year (APR04) after UK newspapers claimed the actor had cheated on her with a group of lapdancers, following a charity event in the British capital.

Following the revelations, Coogan admitted he'd had a "few lines of coke" and "it was madness", but denied having sexual intercourse with the two girls. After time in rehabilitation, Coogan is now clean.

Hickman, 33, petitioned to end their two-year marriage on the grounds their relationship has irretrievably broken down.

Coogan has an eight-year-old daughter CLARE, from a past relationship with ANNA COLE.
