THE CONSTANT GARDENER - CONSTANT GARDENER WINS LONDON AWARDS

THE CONSTANT GARDENER picked up two trophies at the London Evening Standard British Film Awards on Monday (30JAN06), with RALPH FIENNES being named Best Actor.

The movie, adapted from JOHN LE CARRE's best-selling novel, was also named Best Film at the ceremony held at London's prestigious restaurant The Ivy.

Other winners on the night include NATASHA RICHARDSON for Best Actress in ASYLUM, TOM HOLLANDER for Best Comedic Performance in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE and BULLET BOY director SAUL SABB for Most Promising Newcomer.
