CONNICK JNR'S A SECRET JEW

HARRY CONNICK JR's role as a Jewish New York doctor in WILL + GRACE wasn't as much of a stretch as people think it was.

The New Orleans, Louisiana-based crooner-turned-actor's mother is Jewish and she hails from New York.

He says, "That makes me Jewish by the Jewish faith but I practice Catholicism now."
