SEAN CONNERY - CONNERY TO RETURN AS BOND

SEAN CONNERY is to return as movie super spy JAMES BOND in a new videogame.

The Scottish actor, who played 007 on the big screen seven times, has agreed to reprise the role for ELECTRONIC ARTS' upcoming videogame version of FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, in which he starred as Bond in 1963.

Connery will record dialogue for the game, and his likeness will appear as it did in the original film.

In a statement, Connery says, "As an artist, I see this as another way to explore the creative process. Videogames are an extremely popular form of entertainment today, and I am looking forward to seeing how it all fits together."

Connery last portrayed Bond in NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN in 1983.
