DRIVING MISS DAISY - COMPOSER'S LIFE ADAPTED TO FILM

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

The life of celebrated Russian composer SERGEI RACHMANINOV is to inspire a Hollywood biopic, media reports suggest. The music mastermind, famed for his piano concertos, died in California in 1943, having fled his homeland in 1917 after it was gripped by revolution. His eventful life story will be adapted into a feature film from his widow's perspective, according to entertainment magazine Variety. DRIVING MISS DAISY movie-maker BRUCE BERESFORD has been tipped to direct the project.
