JOAN COLLINS - COLLINS SHUNS SHARK ENCOUNTER

JOAN COLLINS recently turned down the chance to star in new reality show CELEBRITY SHARK ENCOUNTERS.

The veteran actress, who celebrates her 72nd birthday next week (23MAY05), laughed off the offer, claiming she'd had ample experience of dealing with sharks already.

She says, "I was recently asked if I would care to join a new show, Celebrity Shark Encounters.

"They kindly offered to provide scuba gear and instructions on how to survive in a cage while sharks swim around you.

"I replied simply, 'Thank you, but I already know how to swim with sharks."
