COLIN FARRELL - COLIN FARRELL MODELS FOR RALPH LAUREN

Irish Hollywood hunk COLIN FARRELL has scooped a deal to star as the new face of fashion house RALPH LAUREN - and will earn almost $3.2 million (GBP2 million) for the contract.

The actor was spotted by the wealthy fashion legend at the New York premiere of his hit movie PHONE BOOTH in April (03), and instantly thought brooding Colin would be ideal for the campaign.

A friend of the wildman star says, "Ralph was blown away by Colin's whole look. He's the perfect vehicle for the clothes. They chatted after the premiere and modelling was mentioned. Colin was a bit shocked by it all.

"It now looks as thought it has been agreed and he should be modelling the clothes later this year (03)."

In addition to TV and magazine adverts, Colin is also considering stepping onto global catwalks on behalf of Ralph Lauren.
