Irish hellraiser COLIN FARRELL has become a father for the first time - his former lover KIM BORDENAVE has given birth to a baby boy.
The MINORITY REPORT hunk was unable to attend the birth on Friday (12SEP03) as he is filming ALEXANDER in Morocco, but Bordenave was supported by members of the Farrell family.
Baby Farrell - who has yet to be given a name - weighed in at 3.43 kilogrammes (seven pounds, nine ounces).
The PHONE BOOTH star's publicist says, "Although Colin couldn't attend the birth, he had family members standing in and is longing to see his new son and couldn't be happier.
"The three will be together very soon. They have yet to name the baby."
