British rockers COLDPLAY are so determined to make it into the Rock + Roll Hall of Fame, their next album will be the one that gets them there.
Frontman CHRIS MARTIN and his group have already become darlings of the critics, but he's out to make sure the group's next album is the one that helps than get into the rock mecca.
He explains, "We're gonna try to make a record that will get us inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame."
The group will start recording the third album in Chicago, Illinois, at the end of the year (03), but they'll have to wait another 22 years to become eligible for a Hall of Fame induction - artists are only considered 25 years after their first hit.
