COLDPLAY - COLDPLAY CHRIS: I'M NOT MARRYING GWYNETH

COLDPLAY singer CHRIS MARTIN has insisted he's not marrying girlfriend GWYNETH PALTROW.

The IN MY PLACE singer and the SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE star had been the subject of repeated speculations that they are poised to head down the aisle, with Gwyneth's godfather STEVEN SPIELBERG giving her away in place of her late father BRUCE PALTROW.

But Martin, 25, has now made clear that the couple have no imminent plans to wed.

He says, "We are not getting married.

"Everything that is written about CHEWBACCA and Steven Spielberg is a load of rubbish. DARTH VADAR is meant to be giving her away."

And the British songwriter also slammed reports the two are planning to start a family.

He joked, "We have seven children. We've adopted (British kid's group) S CLUB JUNIORS."
