COLDPLAY - COLDPLAY CHRIS HITS BACK AT LIAM

Mild-mannered COLDPLAY star CHRIS MARTIN has struck back at rock bad-boy LIAM GALLAGHER - for branding him a "nobhead student".

The YELLOW singer, who is engaged to GWYNETH PALTROW, made the dig while performing at London's EARLS COURT on Thursday night (17APR03).

He changed the lyrics to Coldplay's EVERYTHING'S NOT LOST to mock Liam's bushy monobrow.

Chris sang, "And if you don't like our songs, Here's my advice to you: Try shaving between your eyebrows, Hoping everything's not lost."

He took his stand after the OASIS hardman's comments at a charity gig last month.

Liam had said, "Chris shouldn't be using this cause to bang on about his f***ing views. Him and his gawky bird are just a bunch of nobhead students."

A friend of Chris says, "Chris sometimes changes lyrics to make statements on stage - and took his chance to have a dig at Liam."
