COLDPLAY - COLDPLAY BEAT BLUR TO THEIR OWN SONGS

COLDPLAY have upset Brit-pop rivals BLUR by covering their new song - before its release.

Coldplay frontman CHRIS MARTIN has been performing new Blur track SWEET SONG on their current tour - even though it appears on Blur's new album THINK TANK which isn't released until next month (MAY03).

Blur frontman DAMON ALBARN says, "We haven't had the chance to do it ourselves yet.

"It's not really a reflection on them, it's just the idea that people are singing the songs before we even get a chance to sing them.

"It's just a little annoying."
